About the job
Help turn a founder's attention into momentum across an advisory firm, an AI product, and a visible creative platform. You will work directly with Gary Filipp to keep important work moving, sharpen decisions, build a consistent content engine, and make several distinct workstreams feel coordinated without blurring them together.
This is a high-access role for someone who wants to learn how companies, products, client work, and founder-led brands are built from the inside. Your work will be visible, your judgment will matter, and the scope can grow quickly as trust compounds.
About RocketMinds
RocketMinds brings experienced founders, investors, strategists, and operators together to solve consequential business problems and build products such as Tegy. The work spans value creation, operating strategy, new ventures, and the systems that help leaders make better decisions.
This role also supports GaryFlip, Gary's acting and commercial content presence. The three lanes are distinct, but they benefit from one operator who can protect focus, maintain context, and close loops across them.
Why join now
• Work directly with a founder on real decisions, not a filtered task queue.
• See how advisory work, an early AI product, and a public creative platform operate side by side.
• Build the operating systems and content rhythms that future team members will inherit.
• Take meaningful ownership early and expand your scope as you demonstrate judgment.
• Work in a fast, modern environment with direct feedback and limited bureaucracy.
What you will own
- Founder operating rhythm. Turn priorities, meetings, and new ideas into a clear weekly plan with owners, deadlines, decisions, and follow-through.
- Cross-company execution. Keep RocketMinds client and company work, Tegy product priorities, and GaryFlip content moving while maintaining clean boundaries between each stream.
- Decision support. Prepare concise research, briefs, meeting notes, and recommendations that help Gary make faster, better-informed decisions.
- Founder content operations. Build and run a practical content calendar, coordinate capture and production, repurpose useful thinking across channels, and track what earns meaningful attention.
- Senior-stakeholder coordination. Manage professional logistics around meetings, shoots, travel, events, collaborators, and a limited set of shared Miami initiatives involving another principal. Gary remains the primary stakeholder.
The scope is professional: founder operations, company execution, content, and work-related logistics.
What success looks like
First 30 days: Learn the three workstreams, earn access and trust, establish one weekly operating view, close obvious follow-up gaps, and produce a realistic content calendar.
By 60 days: Run the weekly cadence with minimal prompting, prepare useful decision briefs, keep the content pipeline moving, and surface conflicts before they become missed commitments.
By 90 days: Gary has more uninterrupted time for high-value work, fewer important loops are dropped, stakeholders know what is happening, and the content system produces consistent output without constant reinvention.
Who will thrive
• You have supported a founder, executive, investor, creator, or small senior team in a role where priorities changed and discretion mattered.
• You can separate signal from noise, write clearly, and turn a loose conversation into an executable plan.
• You are comfortable with project management, research, content coordination, and professional logistics rather than needing a narrowly defined lane.
• You communicate early, protect confidential context, and close loops without being chased.
• You are based in Miami or can work regularly in person there while using remote time for focused execution.
Strong candidates may come from chief of staff, executive operations, project management, founder associate, content operations, agency, consulting, production, or startup roles. The title matters less than proof that you can create leverage for a demanding principal.
Engagement and compensation
This is a full-time, Miami-hybrid role with regular in-person work and flexibility around where focused work happens. The base range is US$75,000 to US$105,000, plus a performance bonus, depending on demonstrated scope, experience, and fit.
The equity range is 0.0% to 3.0%, with the specific grant shaped by scope, seniority, long-term commitment, and the value the role is positioned to create.
How to apply
No long cover letter is needed. Send:
• One or two examples of work where you created leverage for a founder or senior leader, including the outcome and your personal contribution.
• A short response: describe a time you kept several important workstreams moving without confusing priorities or stakeholders. What system did you use, and what did you learn?
• Your Miami availability, current location, earliest practical start date, and compensation expectations.
Marco Borgato is the recruiting contact. Strong candidates may begin with a focused working session before the final interview.
Exceptional people rarely arrive on a hiring calendar. We meet strong candidates year-round and move quickly when there is a compelling fit.
