Voice AI Engineer

We're hiring: Berlin, Germany · On-site with Relocation Sponsorship

I'm working with a fast-growing Voice AI company in Berlin to find their next Voice AI Engineer. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who wants to ship real code from day one, not sit in a review queue.

What we're looking for
• You've built something of your own — a company, a side project, a hackathon win — and can talk about what you learned from it
• You've been a genuine key player somewhere, with real ownership of outcomes, not just a list of tasks
• You're comfortable shipping straight to production from day one, in a high-trust, low-process environment
• You thrive in an in-person, pair-programming, highly collaborative setting
• You come from a high-velocity startup background or a top engineering program

This probably isn't for you if
• You prefer a remote-first environment
• You want to be told exactly what to do
• You mostly care about the tech, not business outcomes
• You want a strict 9–5 schedule

Interview process

1. Screening call with recruiter.
2. Live coding online challenge with reverse system design.
3. Full-day on-site in Berlin (9:00–15:00) including system design, coding, product interview, and a 90-min 'top grading' career deep dive.
4. Reference calls with contacts provided during the on-site interview.

The role
This is a role for engineers who care about velocity and solving real customer problems. You won't just ship code — you'll own projects end-to-end, make core product and technical decisions, and shape the trajectory of the company.

As a Voice AI focused engineer, you will
• Build reliable and scalable systems and own critical parts of the core infrastructure
• Solve novel problems that come from working with Voice AI and scaling to millions of daily calls
• Evaluate different models and ensure we push the limits of the technology for our customers
