About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to support the design, development, and optimization of enterprise Oracle database applications. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer with deep expertise in PL/SQL, stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, SQL optimization, and ETL development.

The successful candidate will work closely with technical and functional teams to build scalable database solutions, optimize performance, develop data integration processes, and support mission-critical enterprise applications.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL applications.
• Create and enhance complex:
• Stored Procedures
• Packages
• Functions
• Triggers
• Views
• Materialized Views
• Develop robust ETL processes for large-scale data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Write complex SQL queries for reporting, integrations, and data analysis.
• Tune SQL statements and PL/SQL code to maximize database performance.
• Analyze execution plans and optimize database objects.
• Design database objects including tables, indexes, sequences, constraints, and synonyms.
• Support data conversions, migrations, and production deployments.
• Develop logging, auditing, and exception handling within PL/SQL applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, application developers, DBAs, and architects.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
• Expert-level Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming skills.
• Extensive experience developing:
• Stored Procedures
• Packages
• Functions
• Triggers
• Strong ETL development experience.
• Experience optimizing SQL queries and PL/SQL performance.
• Solid understanding of Oracle database architecture.
• Experience with data migration and database performance tuning.
• Experience using Git or another source control system.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Database 19c or newer.
• Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Informatica, SSIS, or similar ETL platforms.
• Oracle SQL Developer and/or TOAD.
• Oracle APEX.
• Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Control-M, AutoSys, or Oracle DBMS Scheduler.
• Experience supporting Oracle ERP or Oracle Cloud applications.
• Experience with REST APIs and database integrations.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
