Kafka + Java Staff Engineer at BairesDev

We are seeking a Kafka + Java Staff Engineer to architect and implement high-throughput, distributed streaming solutions. You'll combine deep Apache Kafka expertise with advanced Java development skills to build scalable, resilient data pipelines and event-driven architectures. This role requires both technical leadership and hands-on development to deliver mission-critical streaming platforms.

What You'll Do

• Design and architect enterprise-scale Kafka streaming solutions.
• Develop high-performance Java applications that integrate with Kafka.
• Build and optimize distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Lead technical initiatives and guide engineering teams.
• Implement event-driven architectures and real-time data processing pipelines.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance optimization.

What We Are Looking For

• 8-10 years of overall software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Apache Kafka and streaming technologies.
• Advanced Java development skills for building distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture patterns.
• Experience with distributed systems design and implementation.
• Proven track record in technical leadership and mentoring.
• Advanced level of English.
