Salesforce Administrator/Apex Developer

Position Details:

• Duration: 12-month contract with the possibility of extension
• Location: Oklahoma City, OK
• Work Schedule: Hybrid—two days onsite and three days remote
• Interview: Virtual, 1 round.

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Administrator & APEX Developer for a contract engagement within our IT department. In this role, you will focus on the daily management, troubleshooting, and bug-fixing of our Workforce solution built on Salesforce. The ideal candidate will ensure system stability, resolve technical issues, and support our critical workforce operations. Confident knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including navigation, managing forms and field level security.

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, update, and maintain Salesforce forms, page layouts, record types, and related components.
• Configure and maintain field-level security, validation rules, profiles, permission sets, and sharing settings.
• Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch processes, scheduled jobs, and unit tests.
• Build and maintain Salesforce automation using Flows and other platform tools.
• Manage user and service-account profiles, permissions, and access.
• Write and optimize SOQL and SOSL queries, including relationship and cross-object queries.
• Troubleshoot application, security, data, and performance issues.
• Follow Salesforce governor-limit, security, and development best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployments, and production support.
• Gather and document requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Provide clear status updates, technical documentation, and issue reporting.
• Work independently, prioritize assignments, and complete deliverables within established timelines.

Required Qualifications:

• Professional experience developing and configuring applications on the Salesforce platform.
• Strong Apex development experience.
• Advanced SOQL skills, including query optimization and relationship queries.
• Experience configuring profiles, permission sets, field-level security, validation rules, and sharing controls.
• Knowledge of Salesforce objects, relationships, record types, page layouts, and security architecture.
• Experience writing Apex unit tests, debugging code, and meeting Salesforce code-coverage requirements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical and business teams.
