Role Overview
We're looking for a Social Media Designer Intern who's excited about content and design and wants real-world experience creating for live brands. You'll work closely with senior designers and the content team, learning to turn ideas into scroll-stopping visuals using AI-assisted workflows — with guidance and feedback built into every step.

This is a great fit for a student, recent graduate, or early-career designer who wants hands-on exposure to content-first, platform-first, audience-first design, without being expected to run things solo from day one.

What You'll Do
• Create social media creatives on the Sociali.ai platform, starting with smaller pieces and templated formats before moving to more complex briefs.
• Practice translating content ideas into visuals under the guidance of a senior designer, with regular feedback on speed and quality.
• Support monthly content calendars by contributing drafts and variations for the content & marketing team to review.
• Get hands-on with AI tools (including Sociali.ai) to generate and enhance creative outputs, with mentorship on how to use them effectively.
• Help maintain brand consistency across a smaller set of clients/brands to start, expanding as you build confidence.
• Learn basic motion graphics / simple animation (bonus, not required at entry).
• Stay plugged into trends, memes, formats, and platform changes, and bring fresh ideas to team discussions.
• Get exposure to performance data (engagement, CTR, etc.) and learn how it informs creative decisions, with a senior designer interpreting results alongside you.
• Sit in on client conversations to start understanding how brand vision gets translated into a creative brief.

What We're Looking For
• A portfolio (student, personal, or freelance projects are welcome) showing interest in social media-first design work.
• Proficiency in at least one design tool (Canva, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar).
• Growing understanding of content hooks, visual storytelling & the attention economy coursework, self-study, or personal projects count.
• Willingness to design fast and iterate based on feedback, without losing creative quality.
• Curiosity about AI tools (Midjourney, DALL·E, or similar) prior experience is a plus, not a requirement.
• Basic sense of copy + content strategy, and openness to learning more.
• Good communication skills and comfort taking direction from creative briefs, with questions welcomed.
• Basic video editing skills are a nice-to-have, not required.
