Aseflow Wellness is building India's first Instant Functional Nutrition (IFN) brand — a lactose-free, ready-to-drink protein shot engineered for ambient shelf stability, with real lab-validated formulation work behind it (controlled pH and viscosity, nitrogen-flush packaging).

We're at the stage where the science is ahead of the paperwork, and we need someone to close that gap. Our FSSAI licensing (Functional Food / Nutraceutical category) and our provisional patent filing are both in preparation but not yet submitted — this role owns getting both across the line.

What you'd own:

Prepare and file our FSSAI license application under the Functional Food/Nutraceutical category, including documentation, ingredient compliance checks against FSSAI's approved list, and label claim substantiation
Coordinate stability, microbial, heavy-metal, and nutritional composition testing with an NABL-accredited or FSSAI-notified lab, and manage the ongoing 6-month re-testing/reporting cycle once licensed
Work with our patent counsel (or help identify one) to move our provisional patent application from draft to filed under the Indian Patent Act, 1970
Track FoSCoS filing status, respond to Designated Officer queries, and keep documentation audit-ready
Flag any regulatory risk in our formulation, packaging, or marketing claims before they become a problem — not after

Who we're looking for:

Experience with FSSAI licensing for health supplements, nutraceuticals, or functional foods — direct filing experience strongly preferred over general food-safety background
Familiarity with Indian patent filing process (provisional to complete specification) is a strong plus, even if you're not a patent agent yourself
Comfortable working directly with lab partners and coordinating test schedules and reports
Detail-oriented — this role is the difference between a claim we can defend and one we can't
Startup pace: this isn't a role where you wait for six weeks of sign-off; we need momentum

What this is:
Contract, or full-time — open depending on what you bring and your availability. This is foundational work: without a filed patent and an approved FSSAI license, we can't legally scale distribution or fully protect our IP. You'd be closing the single biggest gap between where we are and where we need to be to raise our next round.
