Mid Software Engineer .Net

Helpware is seeking a .NET Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of enterprise-grade business applications for the insurance industry. You will work as part of an Agile Scrum team, designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions built on the Microsoft .NET technology stack. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using the Microsoft .NET technology stack
• Build and support distributed n-tier applications to deliver reliable and scalable business solutions
• Develop clean, maintainable, and high-quality code following established coding standards and best practices
• Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and database integrations
• Create and maintain RESTful Web APIs and backend services
• Write and execute unit tests to ensure software quality and reliability
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, code reviews, and testing activities
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, QA Engineers, and other developers in an Agile Scrum environment
• Contribute to user story refinement, sprint planning, and implementation of new features
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues while continuously improving system performance and scalability
• Provide technical support and collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers when needed

Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial experience with .NET development
• Strong experience with C# and ASP.NET MVC
• Hands-on experience with Entity Framework
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures, and query optimization
• Experience developing RESTful Web APIs
• Experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience using Azure DevOps (Boards, Repositories, Pipelines)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services
• Experience with Visual Studio
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• English level — Upper-Intermediate or higher

Nice to Have:

• Experience developing AI Agents or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions
• Understanding of concurrent programming and scalable application design
• Experience contributing to software architecture and technical design
