Head of Credit Collection

As we continue to expand our lending business in Canada, we are looking for an experienced Head of Collections to lead our collections strategy, optimize portfolio performance, and ensure a best-in-class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the end-to-end collections and recovery strategy.
• Manage collections performance across all delinquency stages.
• Monitor and improve key portfolio metrics, including recovery rates, cure rates, and roll rates.
• Lead collections teams and manage third-party collection agencies.
• Partner with Risk, Analytics, Product, and Compliance teams to enhance collections effectiveness.
• Drive automation, digital collections tools, and data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Major requirements:

• 3+ years of collections experience within online lending, fintech, digital consumer finance or personal lending.
• 3+ years in a leadership role managing collections operations.
• Strong understanding of collections strategies, recoveries, and portfolio management.
• Experience working with collection agencies and external vendors.
• Proven track record of improving collections and recovery performance.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
