Inside Sales Representative - Electrical

This role will also be considered for Morehead City, New Bern or Jacksonville, NC.

Duties:

• Generate leads through outbound prospecting, research, and referrals

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets

• Provide exceptional customer service to existing and potential clients

• Cultivate and uphold relationships with manufacturers and their representatives

• Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities

• Collaborate with the outside sales team to ensure a seamless transition of leads

• Identify and address customer needs, providing tailored solutions to drive sales growth

• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends

• Complete the daily call log detailing job bids, quotes, and customer follow-ups

• Step in to assist our team at the sales counter when required

Requirements:

• Proven experience in inside / outside sales or a related field

• Proficiency in generating quotes using job schedules and take-offs through reps and vendors

• Proven experience handling bills of material and lighting packages

• Strong knowledge of sales principles and practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong customer service skills

• Experience with Square D gear packages, or equal brand

• Skilled in using Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook and ERP (SOLAR preferred)

• Business development skills and a passion for sales

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
