Impact in this Role

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through modern test automation and AI-assisted testing practices. You will design,develop, and maintain scalable automated test solutions while collaborating closely with engineering and product teams. Leveraging AI tools to accelerate test creation, improve

productivity, and enhance test coverage, you will help deliver high-quality software faster. You will also drive continuous improvements in automation frameworks, testing processes, and CI/CD practices. This role reports to the QA Lead.

What You’ll Be Doing

Areas of Responsibility: Essential Functions

As a Software Developer in Test, you will be responsible for automating and maintaining end-to-end integration tests.

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust end-to-end UI, API, integration,BDD and performance automation tests using modern frameworks such as Playwright and performance testing tools.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development and testing tools to accelerate test creation, improve productivity, and enhance test quality.
  • Experience working with AWS, ERP systems, relational databases, and SQL is preferred.
  • Create, maintain, and execute BDD feature files (Gherkin) while collaborating with QA Engineers, developers and product teams to identify automation opportunities and expand test coverage.
  • Perform code reviews, ensuring adherence to automation standards, best practices, andmaintainable test architecture.
  • Support engineering teams by troubleshooting automation issues, analyzing performancebottlenecks, providing technical guidance, and maintaining reliable test suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Experience/ Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in QA Automation, with hands-on expertise in Playwright withTypeScript.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development and testing tools to improve automation efficiency and productivity.
  • Hands-on experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks such as Cucumber, or similar, including writing and maintaining Gherkin feature files.
  • Strong experience in UI, API, and integration test automation, with a solid understanding of automation frameworks and test design principles.
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., k6 (Preferred), JMeter) is an added advantage.
  • Experience in Salesforce (Sales Cloud/Service Cloud) test automation is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in developing reusable, maintainable, and scalable automation solutions while following coding standards and best practices.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and improve software quality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and advocate for quality engineering practices.
  • Experience working with AWS, ERP systems, relational databases, and SQL is preferred.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
