QA Specialist (Menu & Operations)

About the Role

Saeloun is hiring a QA Specialist to work closely with one of our international clients in the food-tech and nutrition industry.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building processes, finding defects before they reach customers, and continuously improving quality systems. You will own the end-to-end quality assurance process for weekly menu releases, ensuring all product data, content, and operational information are accurate before publication.

Responsibilities

• Verify product names, descriptions, packaging instructions, nutritional information, pricing, ingredients, weights, and meal assignments.
• Validate diet tags, subscription mappings, fulfillment information, recipe versions, and other product metadata.
• Reconcile menu data against backend reports and identify discrepancies.
• Audit the published customer-facing menu to ensure accuracy after release.
• Document findings, track issues, and follow them through to resolution.
• Capture review decisions, assign action items, and maintain clear QA records.
• Improve existing QA processes by introducing better validation checks and automation where possible.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, culinary, and operations teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar to assist with QA while validating outputs independently.
• Perform end-to-end QA for weekly menu releases before publication.

Requirements

• Experience in QA, Operations, Business Analysis, or a similar detail-oriented role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies quickly.
• Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel (filters, formulas, conditional formatting, pivot tables).
• Experience creating SOPs, checklists, or structured quality processes.
• Comfortable working with AI tools as part of day-to-day workflows.
• Self-driven, organized, and able to manage recurring deadline-based work independently.
• Strong written English and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Interest in food, nutrition, or culinary processes.
• Experience with automation tools or Google Apps Script.
• Experience improving operational workflows and documentation.
• Exposure to AI image or content generation tools.
