About the team

We are seeking an Scientific Solutions Architect to join our Data Platform Team at ODDITY LABS. We are a small and elite group with a startup-mentality working cross-functionally across the Lab to transform scientific research with AI and Data Science. On a given week we can be found researching new biological targets, fine-tuning computer vision models, vibe-coding RNA Seq analysis, making cookies in the toaster oven, and building out a new mobile app to screen the impact of oddity compounds on thousands of participants. We bring humor, first-principles thinking, and a ruthless work ethic to every problem we encounter and are continuing to transform every aspect of the product development pipeline at the labs. Who are you?

You are science and AI obsessed and looking for your next big challenge. You want to get your hands dirty and build powerful software to support research in the lab, all while owning architecture and product strategy. You have a background in the life sciences and hands on experience building and deploying software solutions int he context of a highly technical field. You have a high amount of emotional intelligence, are willing to take risks and able and willing to have hard conversations if those risks don’t pan out. You are not looking to punch the clock - you are looking to make an impact.

Profile

• BS in Life Sciences
• 2+ years hands on experience with programming
• Strong experience with LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, evaluation, and production systems
• Ability to influence Scientific, Product and Business decisions

About the Job

What You’ll Do

• Own product scoping & design by building relationships with scientific and business stakeholders
• Build out frontend and backend functionality for production solutions
• Collaborate with Devops & MLOps to architect cloud-native solutions
• Build & Deploy software using state of the art agentic coding tools
• Provide Data-Driven Research for new biological targets and indications

• Languages: Python (any others are nice to have)
• AI Stack: Cursor, Claude, Gemini
• Infrastructure: AWS, Docker and Kubernetes
