Daily responsibilities include reviewing code and architectures for security vulnerabilities, improving security monitoring and incident response processes, and driving continuous improvements to our security posture. Qualifications
- Strong Security Engineering and Information Security skills, including designing and implementing secure architectures and controls.
- Experience in Application Security, such as secure coding practices, code review, threat modeling, and vulnerability remediation.
- Knowledge of Network Security, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention, and secure network design.
- Broad Cybersecurity expertise, including risk assessment, security operations, incident response, and security monitoring.
- Proficiency with cloud security (AWS), identity and access management, and encryption technologies.
- Hands-on experience with security tools (e.g., SAST/DAST scanners, SIEM platforms, endpoint security solutions, and vulnerability management tools).
- Ability to partner effectively with software and DevOps engineers, and to communicate complex security concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent practical experience; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP, CCSK) are a plus.
- Hands-on experience with at least one serious compliance regime — FedRAMP, CMMC, NIST 800-171/800-53, SOC 2 Type II, or ISO 27001 — where you were building the controls, not just documenting them.
- Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder.
