Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer for a 4-month contract supporting a complex enterprise IT environment. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience with NetApp ONTAP storage administration and enterprise infrastructure technologies.

This role will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and troubleshooting critical systems, including storage, virtualization, servers, cloud services, networking, and security platforms. Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support NetApp ONTAP storage environments, including configuration, upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Manage VMware vSphere environments, including virtual machine creation, configuration, updates, licensing, and troubleshooting.
  • Support Windows Server environments (2016/2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft enterprise technologies.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and SCCM environments.
  • Support virtualization platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix.
  • Troubleshoot enterprise networking technologies including Cisco/Arista switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Develop PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks.
  • Support security technologies, certificate management, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Maintain technical documentation and contribute to infrastructure improvements.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven hands-on experience managing NetApp ONTAP storage systems (required).
  • Strong VMware vSphere administration experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and SCCM.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise networking, virtualization, and security technologies.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
  • Experience supporting backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Preferred:

  • NetApp ONTAP Cluster Administration (ONTAP9ADM) training or equivalent experience.
  • VMware vSphere certification or equivalent enterprise experience.
