Looking for a Maverick CPA Co-Founder

We're building AI infrastructure for finance that actually works.

The problem: Most AI-first finance tools either skip human judgment entirely (risky) or require so much manual review that they slow you down (pointless). There's nothing in between.

We're building for the gap in the middle. AI does what AI is good at—pattern matching, speed, scale. Humans (specifically, CPAs) do what humans are good at—judgment, context, risk detection. Together, they're exponentially better than either alone.

We're starting with accounting automation, but the thesis is bigger: How do you give finance professionals AI tools that amplify their expertise instead of replacing it? That's applicable across finance—risk, compliance, analysis, strategy.

Who we're looking for:

You're a CPA (qualified or about to qualify). You're hungry and want to redefine how accounting/finance operates at its core, interested in AI and finance tech, probably restless at a traditional firm. You understand not just the rules but the why behind them. You want to build, not just execute.

Why now:

The market is moving. I have early validation and serious advisors who've done this before.
