Key Responsibilities

Process and monitor online payments to ensure smooth, secure, and accurate transactions.

Handle payment disputes, refunds, and customer queries in a timely and professional manner.

Proactively monitor transactions for fraud, errors, and compliance risks.

Ensure adherence to financial regulations, industry standards, and internal security protocols (PCI DSS, GDPR, etc.).

Analyze payment data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and recommend optimizations.

Liaise with product and IT teams to resolve payment-related issues.

Remain up-to-date with fintech innovations and evolving regulatory frameworks.

Support reconciliation of payments in the financial system.

Core Competencies

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience in payments, banking, or fintech.

Proven experience working with payment gateways and resolving transaction issues.

Deep understanding of fraud detection, financial security, and regulatory compliance.

Prior experience with refund management and reconciliation is advantageous.

Familiar with PCI DSS, GDPR, and other payment-related standards.

Background in working with banks and handling international payments.

Solid knowledge of accounting and accounting best practices.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and financial software/databases.

Clear communicator with excellent English writing and verbal communication skills.

Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn new payment technologies.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
