Job description:
We are hiring an experienced Python Developer with strong Databricks expertise for a long-term contract opportunity in Washington, DC.
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid)
Duration: (Long-Term)
Experience Required: 10+ Years
Key Skills:
Minimum 10 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture.
Strong hands-on experience with Python and Azure Databricks
Solid experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud
Expertise in Azure DevOps (Git, CI/CD, source code management)
Experience building APIs using FastAPI or similar frameworks
Experience developing Proof of Concepts (POCs) and scaling them into production
Knowledge of cloud-native application architecture and enterprise solution design
Strong understanding of production engineering concepts such as logging, monitoring, retries, error handling, and fault tolerance
Experience with React (preferred)
Experience with Node.js or .NET is a plus
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
Design and develop enterprise solutions on Microsoft Azure
Build AI-enabled applications using Azure Databricks
Develop and productionize POCs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure cloud solutions
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies
Implement CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
