About the job

Associate Product Manager (APM)
Company: RAKT (HealthTech / Blood Bank SaaS)
Location: Remote
Type: Full-time
Notice Perid: Immediate to 30 Days
Salary Offered: Upto 7-8 LPA

About the Role
At RAKT, we build critical SaaS software that powers blood banks and healthcare operations, ensuring life-saving resources reach those in need safely and efficiently. As an Associate Product Manager (APM), you will work closely with senior product leaders, engineering, and support teams to translate real-world blood banking workflows into clear, actionable software specs.
This is a high-execution, high-learning role ideal for someone early in their product career who thrives on structure, attention to detail, and making an impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with Product Managers, customer success, and support teams to collect user feedback and convert them into clear product needs.
  • Spec Writing & Grooming: Draft well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and task breakdowns that developers can execute on without ambiguity.
  • Sprint Execution & Support: Partner daily with development teams during sprints to clarify feature scope, test edge cases, and remove execution blockers.
  • Backlog Maintenance: Assist product leads in organizing and maintaining a clean, prioritized, and build-ready product backlog.
  • Feature Ownership: Take end-to-end ownership of smaller features, bug fixes, and usability enhancements from ideation to release.
  • Feedback Loop: Capture feedback from customer onboarding, support tickets, and live product usage, turning them into structured improvement requests.
  • Documentation & Readiness: Create and maintain user guides, product documentation, and release notes to support smooth customer demos and onboarding.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Keep cross-functional teams updated on deliverable status, sprint progress, and upcoming releases.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–4 years of experience in a junior product management, product operations, business analysis, or customer-facing SaaS role.
  • Strong Documentation Skills: Ability to organize complex, scattered inputs into structured, easy-to-understand specifications.
  • Tech-Savvy & Curious: Comfort working around engineering teams and a foundational understanding of how web/mobile software is built.
  • Process-Oriented Mindset: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, ClickUp, Confluence, Notion, or similar.
  • Clear Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Domain Empathy: High curiosity and eagerness to learn the nuances of blood bank workflows and healthcare compliance.

How Success Looks

  • Execution Clarity: Development teams receive complete, well-structured requirements with minimal ambiguity.
  • Zero Lost Feedback: Customer issues and user feedback are systematically tracked and routed to the product roadmap.
  • Smooth Deliveries: Sprint tasks assigned to you move smoothly from backlog to deployment without major surprises.
  • Up-to-Date Docs: Product documentation and onboarding guides remain accurate, current, and accessible.
