Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to improve the reliability, scalability, performance, and operational excellence of cloud and hybrid infrastructure. The role focuses on automation, observability, incident management, platform operations, disaster recovery, and system reliability across mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure and application platforms on AWS.
Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks using Python, Bash, Ansible, and AWS services.
Improve platform reliability, availability, scalability, and performance.
Support incident response, root cause analysis, and problem management.
Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
Ensure system security, compliance, and operational best practices.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, networking, and security teams to enhance platform stability.
Drive continuous improvement through automation, operational excellence, and reliability engineering practices.

Required Skills

• B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline a premier engineering institution (e.g., IITs, IISc, NITs, BITS Pilani, or top-tier global universities).
• 2 to 8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps in a start up environment
• Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, VPC, IAM, EBS, S3, CloudWatch).
• Scripting experience with Python and Bash.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Configuration management experience (Ansible, AWS SSM).
• Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability architectures.
• Experience supporting production environments and incident management.
• Experience with cloud migrations and infrastructure modernization.
• Financial Services domain experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to perform effectively during incidents and critical situations.
• Ownership mindset with a focus on reliability and operational excellence.
