What we're building
Our first product is Henry — a trading intelligence that puts institution-grade capability in everyone's hands. It's how we prove the mission in practice, not just on a page. We're moving from private beta toward public launch, building the company and the product in parallel.

The role
As our founding CTO, you'll set the technical vision and build both the system and the team behind it — partnering directly with the founder from private beta through public launch. You'd be joining founding-team early, with real ownership over what Atheneo becomes.

Platform and trading infrastructure — architecture, reliability, and performance at scale
Safety and correctness in a domain where real capital is on the line
Engineering hiring, standards, and team leadership — you'll build the team from the ground up
The technical roadmap from private beta to public launch
Security, data protection, and production readiness

What we're looking for

• A senior engineering leader who has built and scaled production systems
• Hands-on and strategic — you still read and write code, and you can set direction
• Experience with real-time, data-intensive, or financial systems (a strong plus)
• Deep care for safety, reliability, and craft
• Comfort with the ambiguity and pace of a founding team
