Accounts Executive

Bookkeeping & Accounting Entries
● Maintain accurate books of accounts in ERP, including journal, purchase, sales, and payment entries
● Ensure timely posting of day-to-day transactions and ledger scrutiny
● Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
GST & TDS Compliance
● Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) accurately and on time
● Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase records and follow up on input tax credit mismatches
● Deduct and deposit TDS as applicable; file quarterly TDS returns and issue Form 16A
● Support statutory and internal audits with required documentation
Bank Reconciliation & Payments
● Perform regular bank reconciliation and resolve discrepancies
● Process vendor and employee payments, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals
● Monitor cash flow and coordinate with banks for day-to-day banking needs
Invoicing & Receivables/Payables
● Generate sales invoices (including GST-compliant tax invoices) and manage customer billing
● Track receivables and follow up on outstanding payments
● Manage accounts payable, verify vendor bills, and ensure timely payments
Costing & Inventory Valuation
● Support product/job costing, including raw material, labour, and overhead allocation
● Maintain inventory valuation records (raw material, WIP, finished goods)
● Assist in monthly stock reconciliation with physical inventory
MIS Reports & Management Reporting
● Prepare monthly MIS reports (P&L, cash flow, receivables/payables ageing, etc.)
● Provide financial data and analysis to support management decision-making
● Assist in budgeting and variance analysis
