Role Description The Project Manager is a full-time, in-office role based in Akron, OH or Brevard, NC. This position oversees projects from inception through completion, coordinating schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure timely and efficient delivery. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project plans, communicating with clients and internal teams, monitoring progress and quality, and resolving issues that may affect scope, timeline, or cost. The Project Manager will collaborate with designers, consultants, and contractors, handle documentation and reporting, and support adherence to sustainability and design standards. The role also involves maintaining clear communication channels, facilitating meetings, and driving continuous improvement in project processes.
Qualifications
- Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience with construction administration, with the ability to oversee the construction phase to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications.
- Registered architect with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience is preferred.
- Emphasis on public projects, corporate, higher education, parks and recreation and camp projects.
- Proficiency with project management software and standard office tools (MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Revit)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Experience in design, construction, or related industries; familiarity with sustainable design or LEED standards.
