About the Role
ByteBridge is seeking a Product Manager on behalf of one of its partners to lead the development of a next-generation infrastructure platform from concept through commercialization. This role is responsible for defining product strategy, managing the product roadmap, coordinating engineering and manufacturing partners, and ensuring successful delivery of a highly integrated hardware solution.
This is an opportunity to build a product from the ground up within a fast-growing technology company. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex engineering challenges while balancing customer requirements, manufacturability, cost, schedule, and quality.
The Product Manager will work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, field services, and executive leadership to transform product concepts into commercially successful solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and manage the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle
- Gather customer and market requirements and translate them into product priorities and specifications
- Lead cross-functional product development across engineering, manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and field services
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical, structural, and software design activities, including design reviews and technical milestones
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) from prototype through production, including validation, pilot builds, ECOs, and launch readiness
- Drive design-for-manufacturing (DFM), serviceability, manufacturability, and cost-reduction initiatives
- Manage supplier and manufacturing partner relationships, including vendor qualification and sourcing support
- Track project schedules, milestones, risks, and dependencies and provide regular updates to executive leadership
- Support customer demonstrations, incorporate customer feedback into product enhancements, and assist with pricing and product positioning
- Develop product documentation, training materials, and technical content to support sales and marketing
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Product Design, or related field.
- 7+ years of Product Management or Technical Program Management experience.
- Experience developing complex hardware products.
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to balance technical and business priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in critical infrastructure, power systems, industrial equipment, HVAC, energy storage, industrial automation, building technologies, data centers, prefabricated construction, or OEM manufacturing
- Experience with product roadmaps, Voice of Customer (VOC), PRDs, and Stage-Gate development
- Knowledge of design reviews, risk management, DFMEA/PFMEA, DFM/DFA, cost modeling, and BOM management
- Experience with vendor management, PLM systems, and technical documentation
- Proficiency with tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet
- Experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience preparing and presenting executive-level product or project updates
Compensation
- $120,000 - $200,000 (depending on location and experience)
