Mechanical Engineer

Locations: Genesee, CO (20 mins from Denver) OR Edwards, CO (Vail Valley)

Schedule: Hybrid — minimum 3 days/week in office

ST+B Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Technology) is hiring a Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer (3+ years) to help deliver building systems for commercial, healthcare, higher-ed, government, and more.

What you’ll do

• Develop and coordinate HVAC/plumbing designs from schematic design through construction administration.
• Produce and coordinate drawings, specifications, calculations, and equipment selections.
• Use Revit (3D) and/or AutoCAD (2D) to advance design and documentation.
• Assist with QA/QC; incorporate review comments and help maintain schedules.
• Attend client/design/OAC meetings; support fee proposals and team workload planning.
• Perform site visits for existing-conditions verification and construction administration.

What you bring

• 3+ years of building-systems design experience (consulting or closely related).
• B.S. in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering (or similar).
• Working knowledge of load calculations, energy code compliance, and equipment selection.
• Clear, proactive communicator with strong attention to detail.
• PE license preferred, not required.

Work location & flexibility

• Choose Genesee or Edwards as your home office.
• Hybrid model with at least 3 days/week in office; flexibility the rest of the week.
