About the Role

As a Senior Report Developer, you will be working with our government services team to translate data into real world business solutions for our government clients. This is an ideal job for a problem solver who enjoys analyzing data and collaborating with team members to transform data into actionable business solutions. Day-to-Day Impact

• Define reporting strategy and architecture for the ERP project.
• Lead the design and development of enterprise-wide reporting solutions
• Create and implement complex reports based on predefined user requirements, ensuring accuracy and relevancy.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading on target system.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, providing ongoing reports
• Manage and optimize database, report performance, and data retrieval processes ensuring timeliness, reliability, and integrity.
• Create and maintain user-friendly dashboards and data visualizations to effectively present insights and solutions clearly and concisely
• Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to refine reporting needs, ensuring alignment of reporting solution with business goals and project requirements
• Perform quality control measures, testing, debugging, and addressing issues.
• Train and provide guidance to mid and junior level report developers.
• Continuously improve reporting capabilities by remaining updated on industry trends, technologies, and resources.
• Other BI Engineering or Reporting duties as requested.

Essential Experience

• 7+ years of experience in computer science, information technology, or related
• 3+ years of experience with Power BI
• 3+ years in report development
• Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation techniques.
• Familiar with data warehousing and modeling concepts
• Understanding of best practices in reporting and data visualization
• Ability work with multiple stakeholders, gather requirements, and present clear and concise solutions to stakeholders
• Leadership experience as a mentor or leading small teams
• Solution-oriented with strong communication, collaboration, and presentation
