Part Time Outreach Specialist (Backlinks & Partnerships)

Renée is an AI therapy app for emotional wellbeing, designed to feel like a thoughtful, always-available emotional support, build self-awareness, and feel genuinely supported. We've around 6.5k users (growing by 30% each month) and we're looking for someone hands-on to build our backlink profile and partnership network from the ground up.

What you'll own

• Editorial & PR Outreach for Backlinks: Research target publications, journalists, and bloggers based on keywords and topic clusters we provide. Identify link-worthy opportunities, roundups, "best apps" lists, mental health directories, guest post slots, and build out a prioritized target list.
• Custom Pitching: Write personalized pitches for each editor/journalist (no generic mail-merge blasts) that position Renée for a feature or backlink. Manage the full outreach sequence, first touch, follow-ups, and closing the placement.
• Tracking & Reporting: Keep a log of who's been contacted, response status, placements secured, and resulting backlinks/domain authority gained. Report on what's converting so we can double down on the highest-yield outreach angles.
• Partnership Outreach: Reach out to therapy practices, counseling services, and other adjacent wellness/clinical providers to explore referral or recommendation partnerships, where they'd point clients toward Renée as a complementary support tool.
• Outreach List Building: Work directly with us to define and refine target lists for both backlink and partnership outreach, using provided keywords, competitor backlink profiles, and category research as starting points.

You'll:

• Have hands-on experience with cold outreach for backlinks, or partnerships (agency or in-house)
• Know how to research and qualify targets, not just work off a list handed to you
• Write pitches that feel personal and specific, not templated

What working with us looks like:

Fully remote, async-friendly, work from wherever, on a schedule that suits you (with 1 hour overlap with Eastern Time for collaboration)
Work directly with the founding team, you'll get keyword direction and target categories from us, but you own the research and execution

This is a part-time role, requires 12/15-hour/week commitment.
