Software Engineer

As our first software engineer, you’ll be directly responsible for shaping the user-facing experiences that our customers rely on daily. This is a hands-on, full-stack role where you’ll bring new product features to life end-to-end, from backend architecture to polished front-end experiences, while establishing the technical patterns that will scale with our growth

Responsibilities
Design, build, and ship full-stack product features across TalSource
Collaborate closely with Product to scope requirements and translate them into technical implementations.
Own projects end-to-end: backend services, APIs, data flows, and front-end interfaces.
Establish engineering patterns and best practices that ensure quality, maintainability, and scalability as the product evolves.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making across the team.

Qualifications
2-3 years of experience building software in a team in a professional environment
Must have shipped code to production and worked on both successful and failed projects
Can recognized good code when you see it – you have opinions formed by experience tempered by pragmatism
TypeScript or JavaScript proficiency / Git
Builder personality with an eye for product. Ideally, you’ve been coding long before you got your first job
Excited to work with LLMs and an understanding of how to build AI based web applications
Ability to work autonomously but also as part of the team
Willing and able to take the risk of working for an early-stage startup
