About the job

We are seeking a Senior SDET Engineer with 5–7+ years of experience in QA Automation, Java, API Testing, and CI/CD. The ideal candidate will design and maintain automation frameworks, ensure software quality, and collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support continuous testing.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts.
Perform UI, API, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Create test plans, test cases, RTMs, estimates, and schedules.
Analyze requirements and identify test scenarios and risks.
Manage defects, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and track quality metrics.
Collaborate with Development, QA, Product, and DevOps teams.
Contribute to automation strategy and QA best practices.
Leverage AI-assisted testing tools to improve productivity (preferred).

Required Skills

5–7+ years of SDET/QA Automation experience.
Strong experience with Java and JavaScript.
Hands-on experience with Selenium, Karate, TestNG, Cucumber, Rest Assured, or Postman.
Strong API Testing, TDD/BDD, and Agile experience.
Experience with JIRA and SQL (Oracle/Snowflake).
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, or Prometheus.
Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

AI-powered testing tools and prompt engineering.
Cloud-native application testing.
Service Virtualization experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
