Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing features and functionality with minimum dependency on 3rd party plugins
- Ensuring high performance and availability and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugins
- Designing and building the website's front-end
- Designing and managing the website back-end, including the database and integration.
- Conducting website performance tests.
- Troubleshooting related technical and deployment issues
Requirements
- Skill of front-end technologies, including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery and back-end (PHP)
- Knowledge of code versioning tools like Git
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful / SOAP APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
- Good working experience in building user interfaces for websites and web applications
- Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
Qualification
- Professional degree in Software Engineering / Development, Computer Science, or a relevant field
Experience
- 3+ Years experience as a WordPress Developer
