UI Designer

PeakTew is a social media app aiming to connect more people with the real world. Our team consists of passionate individuals from over a dozen different countries. This offer is aimed at those willing to take part in a startup project in their free time to learn more about the professional world and gain international work experience. This implies being ready to commit some time every week to the project. This is an online role, meaning that you would be working remotely.

We are currently looking for a motivated UI Designer to contribute to the development and visual design of the start-up’s digital products, creating intuitive and engaging interfaces while ensuring a consistent and polished user experience.

Your missions:

• You will design user interfaces that are visually appealing, functional, and consistent with PeakTew’s design identity.
• You will create mockups, wireframes, and prototypes to bring ideas into concrete visual form.
• You will collaborate with UX designers, developers, and marketers to ensure the smooth implementation of designs.
• You will attend weekly meetings to present your work, gather feedback, and refine design directions.

Regarding compensation: This is currently an unpaid opportunity as PeakTew is a student-led startup project that is not yet generating revenue. This role is mainly suited for students or individuals looking to gain international experience, practical skills, and exposure to working in a startup environment.

Competencies required:

• Convenient English level (PeakTew operates in English)
• Own a Drawing Pad / Graphic Tablet (since most of our Designs are handmade)
• Have Design Software knowledge, i.e., Figma, Photoshop, etc.
• An autonomous mindset (ability to have excellent communication and teamwork)
• Quick learner
• Outside-of-the-box thinker
