About the job
About Curium
Curium is the enterprise platform for brands to win AI search. Founded by the Princeton team that
invented and coined GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), we combine proprietary
reinforcement-learning models with a turn-key content optimization platform. We power brands like Nike, 500M+ luxury labels, category-leading consumer fintechs, and compliance-heavy B2B enterprises.
Backed by General Catalyst, the ex-CTO of OpenAI, and the CEO of Intel.
About the role
We're hiring a Founding Account Executive as our first commercial hire at Curium. You'll close enterprise
deals end-to-end and build the sales playbook the rest of the GTM team will inherit.
This role reports to the Founder's Office and works directly with all three founders. Top-down sales
motion, executive buyers, multi-quarter relationships.
Open to candidates anywhere within the US.
What you'll do
• Close enterprise deals: Discovery, technical demos, scoping, negotiation, close, and the renewals
and expansions that follow. Run the room with CMOs and Heads of Marketing.
• Drive the pipeline: Close deals the founders bring in and build outbound and inbound motion to
generate your own.
• Build the sales playbook: Your discovery script, demo flow, pricing logic, deal stages, and CRM
hygiene set the standard for the AEs who come after you.
Who you are
• 2-4 years AE at a top-down B2B startup, a consultant / IB / PE professional pivoting into sales, or a
solutions consultant who's closed alongside AEs.
• Customer obsessed. You can hold your own with a CMO and walk out with the deal.
• Operationally disciplined. You keep your own pipeline clean and document what you do so it's
repeatable.
• High agency. You define the playbook as you build it.
Nice to have
• Background in marketing tech, content, SEO, GEO, or growth
• Worked at a seed/Series A startup as one of the first 10 hires
• Familiarity with modern sales tooling
• Ex-founder, even if it didn't work out
Why this role
The first commercial hire owns more revenue surface area than anyone who comes after. What you sell, you build the playbook for.
