Position Title
Video Editing Creator Outreach Specialist

5-10 Hours/Week at $20/hr CAD

Background
My name is Chas Nuhn and I am a professional video editor located in Ontario, Canada. My editing business (and online name) is called EditorTCRD. Over the years I have worked with notable clients including Sydnee Goodman (the regular host of the yearly Game Awards), alongside esports organizations and creators with millions of subscribers. The content I edit is primarily focused around video games. My goal is to help content creators produce high-quality videos while saving them time and motto is "quality over quantity", as I believe in the importance of not rushing work.

As I am interested in expanding my business, I am currently looking for a Video Editing Creator Outreach to help me grow my client base. This role would involve researching gaming creators, building client lead lists and conducting personalized outreach.

Responsibilities
If selected for this position, your primary responsibilities would include:

• Researching YouTube gaming creators who may be interested in outsourcing their video editing.
• Building a list of 30-60 qualified creators each week (depending on current outreach needs).
• Recording creator information in a spreadsheet for my review (channel name, link, email, subscriber count, game genre etc.).
• Identifying creators that best fit our target client profile.
• Sending personalized outreach emails to selected creators.
• Following up with creators when appropriate.
• Providing regular updates on outreach progress and responses.

What I am Looking For
Here are some of the qualifications I am hoping you have when applying for this position. Please note that not all of these qualifications are required, however some (such as having a familiarity with YouTube and creators) are essential.

• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Currently located in Canada.
• Previous experience in marketing, sales, lead generation, business development, or outreach (not required, but helpful).
• Strong internet research skills.
• Excellent written communication.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently.

Additional Qualifications
Familiarity with YouTube and the creator economy (essential).
Knowledge of gaming creators and gaming content.
Experience with email outreach or cold outreach.
Experience using Google Sheets or Excel.
Understanding of YouTube analytics and creator growth.
Experience working with digital agencies or creative businesses.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who enjoys finding new creators before they become widely known, understands YouTube culture and can write friendly, personalized emails that don't feel like generic marketing messages (basic templates would be provided).

Time Commitment
This position would be part-time, with an expectation that you could work between 5-10 hours per week (if required). Work would be completed virtually.

BONUS
If successful in your role, there would be potential for you to receive a content revenue cut per client acquired upwards of 5-10%. For example, if you secure a client who pays $1,000 for a video, you could receive a $100 bonus.
