About the Role
We're looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of our edtech product and platform initiatives, from learning apps and content platforms to assessment and analytics tools. You'll work closely with engineering, product, content, and design teams to keep initiatives on track, remove blockers, and ensure we're shipping high-quality software on time. This role is ideal for someone who understands both the technical side of software development and the people/process side of project management, and who's excited about building products that impact students' learning outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end delivery of software projects, from scoping and planning through launch and post-launch review, across Arivihan's learning platform, content tools, and student-facing apps
• Translate product and content requirements into technical project plans, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with engineering leads
• Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies
• Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers early (including content pipeline, academic calendar, and exam-cycle dependencies), and drive them to resolution
• Manage cross-functional stakeholder communication across engineering, product, content/academic teams, and leadership, providing clear status updates
• Track project metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time) and use them to improve team predictability
• Coordinate release planning and deployment schedules with engineering and QA teams, being mindful of high-traffic periods like exam seasons and admission cycles
• Maintain project documentation, roadmaps, and backlogs in tools like Jira, Linear, or Asana
• Balance scope, timeline, and resource constraints, escalating tradeoffs to stakeholders when needed
• Champion process improvements to increase team efficiency and delivery quality

What We're Looking For

• 4–6 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, Program Manager, or similar role in a software/SaaS environment
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile/scrum methodologies
• Ability to read technical requirements and communicate effectively with engineers about architecture, APIs, and technical constraints
• Hands-on experience with project management tools (Jira, Linear, Asana, or similar) and collaboration tools (Confluence, Notion)
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working on-site and collaborating in person with cross-functional teams
• Problem-solving mindset with a bias toward proactive risk management

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in an edtech company or on education/learning products
• Prior experience as a software engineer, QA engineer, or in a technical role
• Certification in Scrum (CSM), PMP, or SAFe
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and release management processes
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Understanding of LMS platforms, content management systems, or assessment/testing engines
