About Us

Helfen Company is a founder-operated e-commerce business behind two fashion accessory brands — Archer Watch Straps and Downholme. We sell on Amazon and Shopify across the US, UK, EU, and Canada, managing the full operation as a lean two-person team. Over a million products sold, years of sustained growth, and a lot of room to build.

Context

Currently, one owner runs most operations managing our accounts with suppliers, logistics, marketing agencies, and selling platforms. We're looking to create redundancy in his role, create a standard operating procedure for all critical duties in the company, and open up both founder's bandwidth so they can focus on our many growth opportunities in new products, and further developed marketing.

We've made progress using AI coding tools to build automations that reduce many of the repetitive tasks that keep the business running — built by someone who would describe himself as a non-coder figuring it out. We believe that someone with more experience in AI assisted coding and system building generally will bring the right skillset to improve our system and keep things running smoothly.

The Role

This is a hands-on position — part automation builder, part operator, part SOP writer. You'll start by learning how our operation runs, then identify where automation can reduce manual work and build the tools to do it. Over time you'll take ownership of running most of those processes day to day.

Whether your background is in software development, e-commerce, logistics, or supply chain, you solve problems creatively with the tools available today — AI coding assistants, automation platforms, and enough technical foundation to debug what you build until it works consistently.

What You'll Do

Learn our existing systems and processes from the ground up over time.
Build automations and tools to streamline processes across multiple operational areas — each one small, but collectively amounting to a single full-time job.
Help design the format for an standard operating procedure and then contribute documentation. The goal is to be able to reliably teach any process to a qualified person as personelle dynamics shift in the company.
Become familiar with systems and agencies we use for advertising, compliance, customer service, and email — not as the domain expert, but as a capable generalist who helps keep things running.

What We're Looking For

• Comfort connecting and processing data across spreadsheets, connecting systems via APIs
• Experience with AI coding tools
• E-commerce experience is not necessary but appreciated.
• US time zone required, US-based preferred
• Strong recent graduates with relevant projects or experience are encouraged to apply.
• between all of our size and color variations we have hundreds of skus, so you'll need to keep a keen eye examining the details to catch errors or noteworthy details.

Compensation & Benefits

$80,000–$120,000 depending on experience
Annual bonus TBD likely based on company performance.
Annual learning and tools budget available

Fully remote, with some paid travel anticipated early on to learn operations firsthand.
