Author Partnerships Representative

About the role

We are seeking independent Author Partnerships Representatives to introduce Aurelia NV to authors and solo creators who want to turn their stories into interactive experiences.

You will identify potential subscribers, introduce them to the platform, share our working demonstration, answer initial questions, and guide interested creators toward subscribing.

This team focuses exclusively on individual $100/month subscriptions. Studio licenses and managed client partnerships are handled by separate teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify authors, visual-novel developers, and interactive-fiction creators who may benefit from Aurelia
• Conduct respectful outreach through appropriate online communities, social platforms, email, and professional networks
• Share Aurelia’s interactive demonstration and explain its principal features
• Show creators how Aurelia can support storytelling, audience engagement, and monetization
• Follow up with interested prospects
• Maintain accurate records of outreach, conversations, and referrals
• Guide qualified creators through the subscription process
• Communicate common questions and customer feedback to Aurelia
• Represent the company professionally without making unsupported promises

Compensation

This is an independent, commission-based opportunity with no hourly wage or base salary.

Ideal candidate

• Comfortable speaking with authors and creative professionals
• Interested in books, visual novels, gaming, interactive fiction, or digital storytelling
• Strong written communication and follow-up skills
• Able to explain creative technology in clear, approachable language
• Self-directed and comfortable working under a commission-only structure
• Experienced in sales, community outreach, creator partnerships, or customer acquisition
• Familiarity with author communities and visual-novel platforms is helpful but not required

• This is not a salaried or hourly position.
• Earnings are entirely performance-based.
