About SigSenz
SigSenz builds AI-powered video and telematics safety platforms for high-risk mobility
ecosystems including Oil & Gas, Industrial Gases, Logistics, Mining, and Public Transport.
Our vision-based driver monitoring, 360° camera systems, and network-resilient telematics
help enterprise fleets reduce accidents and drive proactive safety.
About the Role
We are looking for a curious and analytically sharp Product Management Intern to work at
the intersection of engineering, design, and customer experience. You'll help shape how
SigSenz's safety platforms evolve — translating field insights from fleet operators, drivers,
and safety managers into clear product requirements that engineering can ship.
This role is ideal for candidates who want hands-on exposure to building deep-tech,
hardware-plus-software products that operate in real-world, high-stakes environments.
You'll learn how AI, IoT, and enterprise SaaS come together in a single product experience.
High-performing interns may receive a full-time offer based on product thinking, execution
speed, and culture fit.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Product Manager, engineering leads, and founders to define
product requirements and own execution timelines for assigned modules.
• Translate customer feedback, fleet operator interviews, and field data into clear user
stories, PRDs, and feature specifications.
• Conduct market and competitive research across telematics, video safety, ADAS,
and fleet management platforms to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Support the product roadmap by helping prioritize features, track sprint progress,
and maintain backlogs in tools like Jira, Linear, or Notion.
• Analyze product usage data, dashboard metrics, and incident reports to identify pain
points and surface opportunities for improvement.
• Sit in on customer calls and pilot reviews with enterprise clients across Oil & Gas,
Logistics, Mining, and Public Transport — and convert insights into actionable
product changes.
• Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure requirements are clearly
understood, scoped, and implemented as intended.
• Support QA and user-acceptance testing for new features before rollout to enterprise
customers.
• Document releases, user flows, integration workflows, and internal product
knowledge for sales, support, and customer success teams.
• Assist in preparing product demos, decks, and updates for investors, enterprise
clients, and partner reviews.
What We're Looking For
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving ability — you can break ambiguous
problems into clear next steps.
• Excellent written and verbal communication — clarity and precision matter,
especially when writing PRDs and specs.
• Comfort working with data: spreadsheets, basic SQL or analytics dashboards, and
metric-driven reasoning.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and follow through with high ownership.
• Familiarity with product tools like Notion, Figma, Jira/Linear, and Google Sheets.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Computer Science,
Business, Design, or a related field.
What Success Looks Like
• You own small product modules end-to-end — from spec to launch — and your work
ships to enterprise customers.
• You bring structured thinking to messy problems involving hardware, software, and
field operations.
• You grow from supporting the team to independently driving features.
• You earn a Full-Time Associate Product Manager offer based on performance.
Why Join SigSenz?
• Work on meaningful, safety-focused problems that protect drivers and prevent real-
world accidents — not vanity SaaS.
• Rare exposure to a deep-tech product spanning AI, computer vision, IoT hardware,
and enterprise software.
• High ownership, high-impact role with visibility across engineering, design, sales,
and leadership.
• Direct mentorship from senior product and engineering leaders.
• Clear growth path into a full-time Product Manager role post-internship.
