Revorra is building the next generation AI workflow automation platform for finance teams and accounting firms. We integrate with existing enterprise systems (like ledgers), communication tools, and leverage the power of AI to bring humans and agents together to reliably and accurately orchestrate complex finance workflows.

Our stack is built for scale: FastAPI + Python on GCP, React 18 + TypeScript, and PostgreSQL 15.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who is obsessed with user experience and frontend architecture. While you will be comfortable navigating the entire stack, your primary mission is to lead the development of our complex, data-heavy React interface. You will transform complex accounting workflows into intuitive, high-performance UIs while ensuring robust backend integration.

Unlike a sandbox environment, you will be shipping code directly to production customers, making critical decisions on state management, component architecture, and data visualization.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Leadership (60%)
• Architect and build scalable, reusable component libraries using React 18 and TypeScript.
• Manage complex global state for multi-tenant data flows, ensuring performance and consistency across large datasets.
• Implement advanced UI patterns for the "maker → checker → approver" workflow, including real-time collaboration features and optimistic updates.
• Optimize frontend performance (bundle size, rendering speed, memory usage) for data-dense accounting dashboards.
• Enforce strict type safety and accessibility standards across the codebase.

Backend & Integration (30%)
• Design and maintain FastAPI endpoints to support complex frontend requirements.
• Build and refine integrations with third-party APIs (Google Drive, Microsoft Graph, QuickBooks) handling authentication, webhooks, and error recovery.
• Collaborate on Database schema design (PostgreSQL) to support new frontend features and multi-tenant isolation.
• Write comprehensive isolation and sanity tests to prevent cross-tenant data leaks.

DevOps & Observability (10%)
• Implement structured logging and metrics for frontend and backend features.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to investigate and resolve production issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns on React best practices and system design.

What You Bring

Required
• 3–4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in React 18+ and TypeScript (you love strict typing and modern hooks).
• Strong proficiency in a backend language (Python/Node.js) and familiarity with RESTful API design.
• Experience with SQL and relational database design (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Proven track record of shipping complex, data-intensive applications to production.
• Ability to read, refactor, and optimize existing codebases.
• A portfolio demonstrating side projects, OSS contributions, or complex system designs.

Nice to Have

• Experience with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, or Alembic.
• Background in multi-tenant SaaS architectures (tenant isolation, row-level security).
• Familiarity with GCP services (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub).
• Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs (Anthropic/Claude, OpenAI/GPT) into user workflows.
• Domain knowledge in accounting, ERP systems, or financial automation.
