Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with 6–7 years of experience in software project management. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Agile methodologies, Jira administration, sprint planning, release management, stakeholder communication, and team leadership. The candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end project execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software releases, and coordinating with cross-functional teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple software development projects from initiation to production release.
• Configure and administer Jira projects, workflows, dashboards, boards, permissions, and reports.
• Manage Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Define, implement, and continuously improve Agile sprint management processes.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure timely mitigation.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute production releases with zero or minimal downtime.
• Ensure on-time delivery of software releases while maintaining quality standards.
• Publish regular project status reports, release updates, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, QA teams, DevOps, Customers, and Business stakeholders.
• Track project KPIs, software metrics, team velocity, and resource utilization.
• Drive issue resolution by coordinating with internal teams and customers.
• Handle customer escalations and ensure prompt resolution of production issues.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication and maintain project documentation.
• Mentor and manage project teams to achieve delivery excellence.

Required Skills

• 6–7 years of experience in Technical Project Management within software development.
• Strong hands-on experience in Jira configuration and administration.
• Excellent knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Sprint Management.
• Experience in release planning, production deployment, and release governance.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and software delivery lifecycle.
• Experience in project planning, estimation, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Ability to monitor project health using software metrics and reporting dashboards.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in handling customer-facing projects and production support.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
