Role Overview
We are seeking a high-performing Sales Manager to lead and scale our student enrollment team. This role is responsible for managing Enrollment Advisors, driving enrollment revenue, improving conversion rates, and building a high-performance sales culture.
The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader with experience managing consultative sales teams, achieving aggressive revenue targets, and coaching representatives to consistently exceed performance goals. This position plays a critical role in helping prospective students invest in career-changing education and training programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Enrollment Advisors
- Establish performance expectations, activity targets, and accountability systems
- Conduct daily sales huddles, pipeline reviews, and one-on-one coaching sessions
- Monitor call quality and provide feedback on discovery, objection handling, and closing techniques
- Foster a results-driven, student-focused sales culture
- Recruit, onboard, and train new Enrollment Advisors as the team grows
- Enrollment Revenue & Performance
- Own monthly and quarterly enrollment targets
- Drive consistent enrollment growth through effective sales management
- Improve lead-to-appointment and appointment-to-enrollment conversion rates
- Forecast enrollment performance and revenue outcomes
- Identify opportunities to increase average student value through program recommendations and upsell opportunities
- Pipeline & CRM Management
- Oversee the enrollment pipeline and ensure timely follow-up on all leads
- Monitor CRM activity, lead stages, and advisor productivity
- Ensure accurate reporting and enrollment tracking
- Improve speed-to-lead performance and appointment show rates
- Maintain operational excellence across the admissions process
- Sales Process Optimization
- Develop and refine enrollment scripts, workflows, and sales playbooks
- Analyze funnel performance and identify conversion bottlenecks
- Test new sales approaches, messaging, and enrollment strategies
- Collaborate with marketing to improve lead quality and conversion performance
- Implement best practices to improve efficiency and scalability
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, Career Services, and Student Success teams to improve enrollment outcomes
- Provide feedback on market trends, student objections, and competitive positioning
- Support the development of new programs and enrollment initiatives
Required Experience
- 3+ years of sales management, admissions leadership, or enrollment management experience
- Proven track record of leading teams that consistently achieve revenue targets
- Experience managing inside sales, admissions, enrollment, or consultative sales teams
- Strong coaching, performance management, and leadership skills
- Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar systems
- Strong understanding of sales metrics, forecasting, and pipeline management
- Preferred Experience
- Experience in online education, workforce development, bootcamps, higher education, or coaching programs
- Experience selling high-ticket services or education programs ($2,000–$20,000+)
- Experience building and scaling enrollment or inside sales teams
- Familiarity with digital lead generation channels including webinars, paid advertising, LinkedIn, and social media funnels

Compensation
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $48,000 per year
Base Salary + Performance-Based Bonus Structure
