About the job
Countly is looking for a DevOps Engineer who is passionate about using data to help organizations transform and improve their businesses. You’ll join Countly as part of our Engineering team, working directly on our Analytics Product and working closely with other Engineers and Support Team to improve our current platform. The timezone for this position is to work office hours in GMT-5/GMT-8.
Responsabilities:
- Debug and diagnose issues on Linux servers, MongoDB, ClickHouse, and Kafka.
- Monitor infrastructure health and manage deployments using Grafana.
- Communicate directly with customers, providing technical support and resolving production issues.
- Write Bash scripts to automate operational tasks and perform data modifications.
- Develop and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and system reliability.
- Participate in troubleshooting production incidents and implementing preventive measures.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar role.
- Good knowledge of: Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, Apache Kafka, and ClickHouse
- Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience writing Bash scripts.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub Actions.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent English
- Nice to Have
- Experience with: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Helm Charts, and Grafana administration and dashboard creation
