The Role
We are seeking a Backend Developer Intern who thrives on logic, database optimization, and writing clean, high-performance code. You will work directly with our engineering and product teams to build scalable APIs, manage relational databases, and see your code deployed to live production servers.
Key Responsibilities
API Development: Design, build, and maintain robust, high-performance RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
Database Management: Structure, query, and optimize relational databases using MySQL DB, ensuring data integrity and fast retrieval speeds.
System Integration & Deployment: Assist in containerizing applications and handling cloud/server deployment pipelines.
Optimized Execution: Debug, profile, and optimize backend performance while translating complex business logic into clean code.
Requirements & Skills
Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with the FastAPI framework.
Confident working with MySQL DB (writing complex queries, indexing, and schema design).
Solid foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, and logical Problem Solving.
Basic understanding of Git, Docker, and backend deployment workflows.
Strong discipline, punctuality for morning syncs, and clear communication.
