The script is where all of that starts. We're looking for a Script Writer who can take a dense, technical, or unfamiliar subject and turn it into a story that lands.

The Role

You'll own the writing layer of our content engine — long-form videos, podcasts, and short-form scripts for founders across deeply technical industries. One week you might be untangling a neuroscience concept for a general audience; the next, sharpening a fintech founder's narrative for investors. Your job is to make complex ideas feel simple, clear, and impossible to skip.

This sits early in our production process, right after discovery and strategy, so your scripts set the direction for storyboarding, production, and final delivery.

What you'll do

• Write scripts for long-form video, podcasts, and short-form content across client industries
• Translate complex, technical, or specialized topics into clear, engaging narratives for the right audience
• Craft investor- and user-friendly messaging that communicates value without jargon
• Develop founder narratives and hooks that drive retention and watch time
• Collaborate with strategists, storyboard artists, and producers to keep scripts aligned with brand voice and visual direction
• Iterate quickly on feedback and adapt tone across formats and platforms
• Research subjects thoroughly enough to write about them with authority

What we're looking for

• 3+ years writing scripts for video, audio, or branded content (portfolio or samples required)
• A proven ability to simplify complex ideas without dumbing them down
• Strong storytelling instincts — you understand hooks, pacing, structure, and payoff
• Comfort writing across formats, from a 12-minute explainer to a 30-second Short
• Sharp research skills and curiosity about unfamiliar subjects (tech, science, finance, health)
• Clear, direct communication and an openness to fast, iterative feedback
• Self-direction suited to an early-stage, remote-friendly team

Nice to have

• Experience writing for founder-led or creator brands
• Familiarity with YouTube performance levers (retention, packaging, hooks)
• Background or comfort in technical verticals like SaaS, fintech, AI/ML, or health tech
• Experience with bilingual or multi-market content
