Software Engineer

Looking for a Founding Engineer
Location: Las Vegas Preferred (US Remote Considered)

Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000 + Equity

About Us

We are a fast-growing company building products in the fintech, gaming, and consumer technology industries. Our team currently operates a cashless gaming platform and is preparing to launch a sports gaming fintech platform. We are actively enhancing existing products while building new technology and working with enterprise and white-label partners. We are looking for a Founding Engineer who wants to help build products from the ground floor, move quickly, and play a major role in shaping the future of our technology stack.

About The Role

This is not a corporate engineering position. We are looking for someone who enjoys building. You will work directly with our development team and leadership to help accelerate development, improve product quality, and support the growth of multiple technology platforms. Initially, this role will be highly hands-on and focused on shipping product. Over time, this person will have the opportunity to help shape our engineering team as the company grows.

Responsibilities

Product Development

• Build and maintain mobile and web application features
• Contribute to frontend and backend development
• Help accelerate product development timelines
• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions
• Build scalable systems that support future growth

Platform Development

• Help build infrastructure that supports multiple products and brands
• Contribute to future white-label platform capabilities
• Support custom partner implementations when needed
• Build reusable systems that can scale across multiple applications

Code Quality

• Review code and identify improvements
• Help maintain high development standards
• Assist with debugging and troubleshooting
• Improve application performance and reliability
• Help reduce technical debt

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with developers, designers, and product leadership
• Participate in planning and development meetings
• Help ensure projects stay on track
• Contribute ideas and technical recommendations

Future Leadership

As the company grows, this role may evolve into a technical leadership position with opportunities to:

• Help build an in-house engineering team
• Mentor developers
• Improve development processes
• Assist with hiring and technical evaluations
