Lead AI programmer

About: Investiflex is an early stage fintech startup.

We provide a fully integrated quant trading system, providing access to predictive models, signals, and portfolio frameworks. Unlike most platforms, we offer full end-to-end investment capabilities: from AI modeling to trading strategies to order-to-execution logic. Our customers are crypto exchanges, hedge funds, trading firms in need of smarter, AI-driven tools to manage and optimize their investment strategies.

What we are looking for: The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with a deep interest in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. In this role, you will help design, develop, and maintain innovative software solutions while contributing to the integration of AI-driven capabilities across our products and services.

This position will begin as a part-time engagement with a clear path to a full-time role.

An equity component is available for candidates interested in participating in the long-term growth and success of the company.

Requirements:

10+ years of software engineering experience,.
Strong foundation in software engineering principles and best practices.
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go, or C++).
Experience developing and deploying production-grade applications.
Familiarity with AI/LLM technologies, APIs, automation frameworks, or machine learning workflows is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Build and integrate AI-powered features, tools, and workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve existing systems and applications.
Stay current with advancements in AI, machine learning, and software development technologies.
