Role Overview
We are looking for a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to join our AI team and partner directly with enterprise clients to deploy, configure, and operationalize AI-driven workflow solutions. This is a high-impact, client-facing engineering role that bridges technical implementation and strategic solution delivery.
You will collaborate with business consultants, product engineers, and customer stakeholders to turn real-world operational challenges into production-ready AI solutions — including agentic workflows, intelligent automations, and enterprise integrations. In parallel, you will contribute to the evolution of internal AI platforms, accelerators, and reusable intellectual property.
This role calls for strong full-stack engineering skills, a genuine curiosity for emerging AI technologies, and the ability to deliver results in fast-paced customer environments.
Key Responsibilities
Client Delivery & AI Solution Implementation
• Deploy and configure agentic AI workflows and intelligent automations within enterprise client environments.
• Translate business requirements into technical architectures and actionable implementation plans.
• Implement and integrate pre-built AI solution packs into enterprise ecosystems.
• Work closely with clients to tailor AI capabilities to their specific operational workflows and business processes.
Solution Engineering & Prototyping
• Build demos, prototypes, and proof-of-concept solutions to validate AI-driven use cases with clients.
• Rapidly iterate on solutions to refine and improve AI-powered workflows.
• Support the implementation of AI orchestration, LLM integrations, and agentic decision-making models.
Full-Stack Engineering & Integration
• Develop integrations between enterprise platforms, APIs, and AI services.
• Build supporting components including scripts, microservices, automation logic, and integration services.
• Connect AI platforms with enterprise data sources to enable intelligent, data-driven workflows.
Platform & Product Contribution
Actively contribute to the development of internal AI platforms and reusable solution assets, including:
• Identifying recurring patterns and capabilities discovered during client engagements.
• Contributing reusable components and automation assets to the shared platform.
• Providing structured product feedback that drives platform improvements.
• Helping transform successful client implementations into repeatable, scalable features.
Client Interaction & Technical Consulting
• Participate in workshops, discovery sessions, and technical working sessions with customers.
• Serve as the engineering counterpart to consulting and delivery teams.
• Communicate architecture decisions, system behavior, and technical trade-offs clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
Systems Integration & Reliability
• Diagnose and resolve issues across AI workflows, integrations, and automation pipelines.
• Ensure deployed solutions are secure, scalable, and production-ready.
• Optimize systems for performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
Cross-Team Collaboration
Work closely with cross-functional teams including:
• Business Process Consultants
• Product Engineering
• Data Engineers
• AI/ML Engineers
• AI Center of Excellence teams
Contribute to internal playbooks, deployment patterns, and product evolution.
What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months)
• Successfully deploy AI-powered solutions across multiple client engagements.
• Deliver functioning AI workflows and integrations within enterprise environments.
• Build trusted, collaborative relationships with both customer teams and internal delivery stakeholders.
• Contribute reusable components and meaningful improvements to internal AI platforms.
• Provide actionable feedback that enhances platform capabilities and accelerates delivery.

Required Qualifications
• 5–8+ years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, enterprise platforms, or automation systems.
• Strong engineering foundation with hands-on experience in full-stack development, scripting, or enterprise integrations.
• Demonstrated experience working with AI/LLM technologies or AI-powered applications.
• Prior experience in client-facing engineering or technical consulting roles.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar scripting languages.
• Strong communication skills — able to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications
Enterprise Workflow Platform Experience
• Experience with workflow automation platforms (e.g., ServiceNow or similar).
• Familiarity with platform scripting, APIs, and development patterns.
• Understanding of enterprise data models including configuration management, workflow/task management, knowledge bases, and system integrations.
AI & Platform Experience
• Experience building AI prototypes, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems, or agent-based workflows.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs or AI services into enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, or semantic retrieval.
• Track record of contributing to internal platforms, reusable accelerators, or shared product capabilities.

Why This Role Matters
Forward Deployed AI Engineers serve as the critical link between enterprise business challenges and cutting-edge AI platforms. By working hands-on with customers, you will create immediate, tangible value — while also shaping the future direction of our AI products, accelerators, and platform capabilities.
This role is central to our AI strategy and the scaling of our AI platform and Foundry operations.

We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace. Employment decisions are made without regard to race, gender, religion, age, disability, national origin, sexual orientation, or any other protected status.
