Exercise Science & Fitness Intelligence Specialist (ACE Certified)

We're looking for an exceptional ACE Certified fitness professional to help shape the exercise science foundation behind an AI-powered workout generation platform being developed with one of the world's largest fitness equipment manufacturers.

This project sits at the intersection of exercise science, AI, and product innovation, with the goal of creating a personalized workout intelligence system capable of delivering expert-level exercise and load recommendations at scale.

You'll work closely with product leaders, engineers, and industry thought leaders to help develop an evidence-based fitness framework that powers adaptive workout generation and personalized training recommendations.

What You'll Do

• Advise on exercise selection, progression, strength standards, and load prescription
• Help define the fitness intelligence models that power workout recommendations
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate exercise science into scalable systems
• Design and advise on exercise science studies in partnership with ACE and our client
• Develop hypothesis-driven approaches to validate training outcomes and recommendation quality
• Help leverage real-world workout data to strengthen evidence-based fitness recommendations

You Have

• Current ACE Certification (required)
• Background in exercise science, personal training, strength and conditioning in both lab and applied (working with clients) settings
• Deep and broad familiarity with the exercise science research literature, particularly around strength training load prescription, progression models, and evidence-based program design
• Experience with research methods, study design, or evidence-based fitness practices
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical teams

Bonus Points

• Advanced degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field
• Additional certifications (CSCS, ACSM, NASM, etc.)
• Experience with fitness technology, connected fitness, or digital health products
• Research, analytics, or data-driven fitness experience
