Junior Fullstack Developer

mental health. We are popular with employers, payors and healthcare providers due to its scalability
and low cost. Being an AI based app, Wysa overcomes the stigma and privacy concerns that often
prevent people seeking help for their mental health.

This is an opportunity to join the engineering team of a fast-growing global mental health company. As a Junior Fullstack Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to build seamless,
scalable, and high-performance user experiences that power Wysa’s AI-driven platform end-to-end.

Role & Responsibilities:
Core Development: Design, build, and maintain both frontend and backend components of
Wysa’s platform while writing clean, modular, testable, and production-ready code.

Feature Development: Build performant, reusable, and user-centric features by participating in
the overall application lifecycle.

UI & Experience: Develop intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces using modern
frontend practices.

API & Data Handling: Integrate frontend components with REST APIs, manage data flow, and
work with MongoDB data models.

System Stability: Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues to improve platform
stability and reliability.

Optimization: Continuously optimize performance across frontend and backend layers for
scalability to support millions of users.

Collaboration: Work closely with backend, AI, DevOps, design, and product teams to deliver
features end-to-end.

Code Quality: Participate in code reviews and engineering discussions to improve code quality
and maintainability.

User Advocacy: Be the user’s voice while making product and experience decisions.

Best Practices: Follow secure coding, privacy-by-design, and secure SDLC practices aligned
with Wysa’s security and compliance standards.

AI Integration: Demonstrate practical familiarity with AI tools to improve development workflows
and productivity.

Qualifications: - - -
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Hands-on experience of 1 -2 years in Fullstack development or similar roles.
A proactive mindset with a passion for quality, performance, and continuous improvement.

Must-Have Skills: - - - -
Strong proficiency in JavaScript
Experience with NodeJS, ReactJS, and MongoDB
Experience building UI with Material UI
Strong problem-solving skills and a creative mindset

Preferred Skills:
Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to enhance productivity
Understanding of API integration and system design
Exposure to agile development environments
Strong sense of ownership and user empathy
