Data Systems Analyst

Job Summary: (Data Systems Analyst) Remote

• Lead integration of various healthcare payer data and internal enterprise systems data into WellBe s enterprise data platforms.
• Analyze, map, validate, and standardize payer data feeds (eligibility, claims, quality, risk adjustment) and internal systems (EMR, CRM, HR) to maintain a single source of truth.
• Onboard and integrate diverse payer feeds, including eligibility (834), claims (837), HEDIS quality data, HIE, and RAF datasets.
• Maintain source-to-target data mappings, transformation logic, and standardized data definitions across feeds.
• Identify and resolve payer-specific data variations, quality issues, and structural differences; support normalization in the data warehouse.
• Validate data ingestion and transformation via profiling, reconciliation, and exception analysis.
• Collaborate with data engineering and senior analysts to ensure scalable, accurate, and well-documented pipelines and scenario documents.
• Act as subject matter expert for integrated payer and internal data to support analytics, reporting, and operational use cases.
• Lead discovery sessions with customers to document technical specifications, data elements, and business requirements.
• Translate clinical, operational, and business requirements into clear data and system specifications.
• Define and implement data quality rules and monitoring frameworks for critical data pipelines.
• Develop and enforce data governance policies, including metadata management, data lineage tracking, and compliance standards.
• Ensure timely and complete delivery of assigned integration projects, fully preparing for engineering implementation.
• Utilize advanced SQL and strong understanding of relational databases; experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. Snowflake).
• Apply data warehousing, data integration, and business intelligence expertise, especially with healthcare payer data (834, 837, HEDIS, RAF, pharmacy).
• Work with data governance tools (e.g., Atlan, Collibra, Alation), data quality frameworks, and agile methodologies (e.g., Jira).
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ownership, initiative, and effective communication with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Work remotely, with potential travel up to 15% as required.
