Senior QA Automation Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test automation, API testing, CI/CD integration, and modern software development practices within a fast-paced product environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and test scripts.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
• Automate UI, API, integration, and regression test cases.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality-focused feedback.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform root cause analysis for production issues and recommend preventive measures.
• Monitor test execution, analyze results, and provide quality metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, frameworks, and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills

• Strong experience in QA Automation (3+ years).
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as:
• Selenium WebDriver
• Playwright or Cypress
• Appium (for mobile automation)
• Proficiency in Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with API testing tools:
• Postman
• Rest Assured
• Karate

Strong understanding of:

• Test Automation Framework Design
• API Testing
• Database Testing (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
• Functional, Regression, Integration, and Performance Testing
• Experience working with Git and version control systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools:
• Jenkins
• GitHub Actions
• Azure DevOps
• Experience with cloud platforms such as:
• AWS
• Azure

Preferred Skills

• Experience in FinTech, E-commerce, or Digital Lending platforms.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Understanding of security testing and VAPT findings validation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
